He began his academic journey at Telford College, where he studied English and Mathematics, and then moved on to earn a BA (Hons) in Business Management from Buckinghamshire New University. His commitment to education continued as he studied Crime and Criminal Justice at the University of Gloucestershire and pursued further qualifications in Education, Management, Leadership, and Strategic Management.

Currently, Dr. Nicu is furthering his expertise through an MSc in Applied Forensic Psychology and a PhD at the Swiss School of Business Research, indicating a deep interest in psychological aspects of criminal behaviour.
